Reiter Affiliated Companies (RAC) hosts annual Sembrando Salud 5K Color Run and Walk in Watsonville on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Ramsay Park. The event will begin at 9:30am with a 5K walk/run for employees and their families.
The Sembrando Salud 5K Color Run and Walk is intended to motivate workers and their families to go outdoors and exercise in a fun and safe environment.
“Our 5K is unique because we focus on raising awareness about healthy habits to prevent diabetes and other chronic diseases,” said Gabby Guzman, Sembrando Salud Administrator. “We ask our employees and their family members to join us free of charge and start making small healthy changes that can bring about major impacts to their health for years to come.”
During the event, there will be healthy snacks available for the participants and their families.
After completing the 5K, participants will have an opportunity to learn about Champions for Change, a statewide movement that is inspiring California’s families to make healthy lifestyle changes and supporting them along the way.
