To prepare our next generation of leaders in the berry industry
Where:
US students complete a 3-month internship in one of our Mexico locations. This gives students an opportunity to excel inour bicultural work environment, while gaining valuable perspectives on our global business operations. Graduating US students may be recruited as full-time employees in the US based on their contributions and learning in their Mexico internship.
Similarly, Mexico students complete a 3 month internship in one of our US locations. Graduating Mexico students may be recruited as full-time employees in the Mexico based on their contributions and learning during their Mexico internship.

Job Description/Requirements:

Apply agricultural science knowledge and assist in the process of the day to day operations of a strawberry and or raspberry ranch.

Assist the ranch manager in laying out the season’s plantings.

Work with ground prep supervisor on coordinating field preparation, fumigation, and bed up operations.
-
Work with pest control advisors to monitor pest populations and treatments.
-
Work with ranch manager in understanding soil fertility, plant nutrition, irrigation efficiency, and pest control.
-
Work with ranch manager to maximize efficiency and performance in all cultural labor operations.
-
Work with ranch manager to maximize harvest packaging potential, as well as harvest labor efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with production agriculture
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills and mathematical skills
- Ability to understand and speak English and Spanish language
Education:
- In Progress of completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Science or other related field.

Job Description/Requirements:

Reiter Affiliated Companies, an International Berry Company is seeking a dynamic individual to participate in our internship program for our Research and Development team. We currently have an internship opportunity available for a Research Assistant Intern at our operations in California and Mexico.
Position and Purpose:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct and apply research activities in strawberry and raspberry fields. Must be knowledgeable with production agriculture, preferably berry crops and have a general understanding of research methods and techniques.

Responsibilities will include assisting in: setting up test plots, planning and analysis, in addition to collecting and analyzing soil and water samples.
Knowledge and Skills:

Position Purpose:
This position will provide technical support to the K & I team in the areas of water sustainability, GIS, and nutrition. Establish and maintain a data base of hard and soft informational material.
Job Summary:
Reiter Affiliated Companies, an International Berry Company, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our internship program within our Knowledge and Innovation department. We currently have an opportunity available for a compensated position for a 9 month assignment.
General Responsibilities include:
· Install and maintain water use monitoring (flow meters) and soil moisture monitoring equipment
· Organize and manage flow meter data and produce excel reports as needed
· Assist in the setup and documentation of water use reduction strategies
· Pull soil and tissue samples
· Develop block level GIS ranch maps
Job Qualifications:
· Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Agricultural or Environmental field experience a plus
· Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
