TITLE:                      IT Support

REPORTS TO:         IT Support Specialist

LOCATION:             Oxnard, CA

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

This role provides client and technical issues resolution for end users via email or phone or in person or other electronic medium for Reiter Affiliated Companies. Work in conjunction with other IT staff to fix any other special issue regarding with IT. Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications as related to Internet. Obtain general understanding of OS and application operations related to company offered services. And Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems and recommends appropriate resolution.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

·         Ensure timely support for correct operation of information systems, communication and phone system of company, also to support the incorporation of new technologies to optimize existing ones.

·         Ensure the proper operation of the users equipment’s, supporting to solve their problems in the software and hardware, monitor the proper used in accordance with company policies.

·         Ensuring data and the security of enterprise systems, in order to avoid risk of loss, viruses, user errors, intrusion of anyone outside the company.

·         Responsible for inventory of hardware and software of his area, ensuring that all software is licensed.

·         Help Desk Level 1 Support for the Oxnard District

·         Data track Hardware Support and Connectivity

·         Hardware Setup and Support

·         Remote Office Technical Support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree related field

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience

·         Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired

·         Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2005/2008

·         Microsoft Exchange Server 2007-2010

·         Firewalls –ASA, ISA Server

·         NetApp SAN Solutions

·         VMWare Environment

·         Active Directory

·         Linux Red Had

·         CCNA – Cisco Certification

·         Network knowledge TCP/IP/VLANS/STMP/VoIP

·         Knowledge on Cisco Switches 3750, Router 2850, WAAS, ASA 5500.

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Cisco Certifications, Windows 2000/2003 server, W2K/XP Desktop, MS SQL2000/2003, Citrix Server, Advanced Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security), Telecommunications Protocols and Standards,

 

SKILLS:

 

·         Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities.

 

·         Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution

 

·         Experience architecting a large Windows desktop/laptop/Citrix/Active Directory environment (roaming profiles, etc

 

·         Experience project managing, deploying and supporting large scale O/S migrations and introducing new technology based on business needs and industry standards  

·         Solid foundation designing and implementing distributions with Active Directory, Cisco, SQL Server for the full lifecycle with diagrams, workflow Visios, support documentation and training, presentations etc.



·         Resource Kit level knowledge of Windows 2003, Windows 2000 Prof., and XP
Ability to work independently without intensive oversight must be a go-getter and take initiative on a regular basis finding ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact)

 

·         Initiative and ability to research problems independently, finding root cause
Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer training and written documentation.

 

·         Strong interpersonal skills

 

·         Positive customer service and team attitude, (helping others when required)
